Do you have the time to do something amazing in 2024 and help a young person achieve their potential by offering a few hours a month, taking an interest in their welfare and having fun? Our vision is that every young person in need has access to the resources and opportunities needed for them to achieve their potential and lead fulfilled lives. Our client does this through their incredibly rewarding Mentoring and Befriending roles by recruiting, training and supporting volunteers to assist, guide and listen to young people in need.

What can I do to help?
Our client, an Independent Children's Charity, believe young people are at the heart of everything they do and they thrive on having volunteers out on the front line working with them.

Mentor
Volunteering with young people who may have been identified as at risk in the community, school or home and are in need of an independent adult who can help them with set goals, have fun in the community and build resilience over weekly visits for a period of 6 months.
Â
Befriender
Befriending (Independent Visitor) This role involves working with young people who are already in care or are a looked after child, meeting once a month for a commitment of 2 years. The aim of this service is to give our young people a consistent, stable adult throughout what can be a time of continual changes when stable support is most needed.
