Salary: From £10.79 - £11.24 per hour (depending on shift)

3 x Shift pattern consisting of 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am

Job Type: Temporary (with potential to Permanent)

My client provides shrink sleeve labels, self-adhesive labels, spouted pouches, and packaging machinery on a global scale. Utilizing the technology and capabilities of the Group, we provide total packaging solutions to meet our customers’ needs in a wide range of areas, such as food, beverages, dairy, home & personal care and pharmaceutical products.

They are seeking motivated individuals for our Conversion Department. The role will involve utilising the production machinery and equipment in the most efficient way to produce our packaging product that conforms to requirements and customer deadlines are met. The machinery and surrounding areas are to be kept clean and tidy and 5S strategy adhered to.

You should have excellent communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and able to work well within a team. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are needed.

Previous experience in machine operating or in a manufacturing environment is desirable. Good numeracy and literacy skills are also needed to interpret documentation
