2x12 hours days (6am-6pm)

2x 12 hours nights (6pm-6am)

4 shifts on / 4 shifts off 

£13.37ph on shift pattern – Due to increase in April

Temp - Perm (permanent role after 12 weeks depending on performance) 

The ideal Machine Operator candidate will have experience in a production or manufacturing environment and will be comfortable working in a rotating shift pattern to include nights and early starts.

We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing environment team based in Gillingham.

My client provides shrink sleeve labels, self-adhesive labels, spouted pouches, and packaging machinery in a global scale. Utilizing the technology and capabilities of the Group, we provide total packaging solutions to meet our customers’ needs in a wide range of areas, such as food, beverages, dairy, home & personal care and pharmaceutical products.

The role will involve utilising the production machinery and equipment in the most efficient way to produce our packaging product that conforms to requirements and customer deadlines are met. The machinery and surrounding areas are to be kept clean and tidy

You should have excellent communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and able to work well within a team. Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills are needed.

Good numeracy and literacy skills are needed to interpret documentation linked with the position/duties.

This role may involve heavy lifting for product parts.
