Location: UK- Preferably Kent based.

Salary: £50k

My client is seeking a highly organised, enthusiastic and results driven Head of Software Marketing to create from Scratch the marketing strategy for the company’s new platform and brand.

The platform will be aimed at retail traders allowing them to see personalised news in relation to stocks and financial data. The successful candidate will need to have experience in promoting platforms and managing content for features and benefits.

This exciting new opportunity will also allow you to recruit two new junior Marketing team members to be able to support you long term with the new platform.

Founded in 2019 our client is a fintech company leading the hyper-personalisation revolution in the Financial Services sector.

You will lead a wide range of marketing activities to include; software Marketing, Production of relevant and targeted collateral, Selling features and benefits, Advertising, PR, Brand, Design, Events, Networking On-line (both internal and external); managing and driving forward firm wide profile building initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the launch of the new software platform

  • Brand and website designing

  • Be the driving force behind all content working to deliver new campaign in a timely manner

  • Plan, implement and manage marketing and lead generation campaigns and measure results

  • Recruit and Train two new team members for the new Platform

  • Develop brand tone of voice guidelines for copy across all platforms (Website, social, mailers, press adverts, etc) and write product and brand copy for email, social, and website blogs and manage blogger and influencer relationships

  • Develop and maintain a consistent corporate image and ensure that the brand is well communicated across all channels

  • Keep up to date on social media changes and the implications on strategy consistently remain ahead of the competition

  • Coordinate marketing campaigns, research projects and initiatives to achieve business objectives

  • Support the sales team in the creation of sales decks

  • Some overseas travel may be required


  • Software Marking experience

  • A degree in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising or related field is required

  • Minimum 4 years marketing background

  • Creative thinker with proven campaign experience and delivering engaging blogs and social media content

  • Excellent communications skills, with a solid knowledge of English grammar and the ability to present ideas in a clear and concise way, both verbally and in writing

  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for latest trends is key

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, working to tight deadlines

  • B2B marketing experience

  • A natural curiosity in the world as well as news and current affairs

  • Experience in finance or technology sectors would be an advantage
