Job Summary

1. To maintain and increase sales wherever possible.

2. To ensure we give the best possible service to our customer’s at the most cost effective price.

3. To ensure all orders are processed correctly onto the system

4. To keep all Account Managers advised of any key issues affecting their accounts

5. To keep the Customer Services Manager advised of all key issues.

Leadership & Teamwork

  • To adopt a “right first time” attitude.

  • Ensure there is a close working relationship between other Depts including Distribution, Production Planning, Stock Control, Logistics Admin, Accounts and the rest of the sales team.

  • Be proactive in helping others to find solutions to problems.


· To ensure communication through to other areas are effective and prompt.

· Clear and prompt communication to the Account Managers


· To be focused on both our internal and external customer’s needs and to ensure we meet these needs and where possible to improve the levels of service.

· Being able to make the right decision at the right time and to consider all the facts and to ensure the decision is made with all due consideration to customer service and profitability.


· Data is updated accurately and in a timely fashion.

· Sales information is presented in a tidy and clear format.

Responsibilities & Expertise

· To rely on previous experience of similar situations and to learn from any previous mistakes.

· Constantly strive to increase operational performance.


· To adhere to health and safety and best practice policies.

· Personally comply with all policies, procedures and risk assessments relevant to role and responsibilities.
