My client is seeking a booking service advisor to join their small friendly team based in their Central Maidstone head office on an on-going temporary basis till the 1st of September to assist with holiday cover initially with a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

You will be working within an office-based environment using a management system to book-in vehicles for service/repair for our busy Auto Commercial Centre in Maidstone.

The role will involve taking telephone bookings and updating the IT system with the details. They will also need to keep customers updated with progress, including advising them when their vehicle will be available to collect.

The role requires excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with vehicle bookings. You will be expected to taking in-coming call related to booking in vehicles for repairs, services etc.

Ideally you will come from an Auto industry background with strong customer service skills,

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals who enjoy working as a team and dealing with customers, with a view to enhance our customer retention.

The essential skills required for this role include an excellent telephone manner, a high level of communication skills, IT literacy, attention to detail and exceptional customer service. Full training will be given on using our management system.
